The concept of Transition Management is an innovative offering by Transform in response to the contemporary issues around youth transitions from learning to work. In this constantly changing world, individual’s educational choices are not always aligned with the opportunities in the labor market and hence it has become a common phenomenon to find educated young people struggling with unemployment or underemployment.
As technology continues to evolve, the pace of change in these times has become frantic thus making the process of transition even more complex. It is not only impacting individuals across their career life cycle but also society at large. Recognising its adverse impact on social stability and economic growth in developing as well as developed nations, World Economic Forum has designated unemployment and underemployment as a ‘GLOBAL RISK’.
We, at Transform, took the challenge to address this multi-faceted problem and explored possible solutions. Taking a cue from leading authorities on the subject, we have created a new concept in the space of transition management.
